Review - JCube

JCube has generated so much hype since it opened a couple of months ago. It has an Olympic-sized ice-skating rink which has much to rave about. I don't know how to ice-skate but still decided to check it out since the ice-skating rink is in an open space. Don't know how to ice-skate but can see people ice-skate right? Haha~

Since I was supposed to meet up with Calin, might as well check out JCube with her. When I went there for the first time, many shops were still not opened. However, all the shops are opened now so do go and check the place out! It is conveniently located within walking distance from Jurong East MRT.

Decided to try out Chili's with Calin for lunch. Heard about the restaurant from Diana but didn't have the chance to try it out with her in KL.

The cheese fries is a bit too salty for my liking.

I can't remember how much we have spent but the food there is not cheap. However, the portion is huge and the service is great! You can sit there and chill out while watching people ice-skate.

After lunch, we wanted to find a place where we could sit down and have a drink. Calin wanted me to help her prepare for her Business Statistics exam. We happened to chance upon this cosy looking cafe, Pique Nique - there's another outlet at Ngee Ann City which I have blogged about here. It has a chic and interesting decor. One could find a tree planted in a pot placed in the middle of the cafe. This chic looking cafe is under the Sugar daddy group where the owner is Chef Pang, who was formerly the pastry chef of the Les Amis Group’s Canele. Under the group, there is also Antoinette. Wanna try it out one day!

By the way, the service is not that good in Pique Nique. The staff showed us black faces while we were studying there. It was not even crowded. Nonetheless, we decided to relocate to my house to continue studying.
