I keep having nightmares/weird dreams these few days. Then a friend told me that if I'm feeling stress in the day but try not to think about it but am actually worrying alot about it, at night my mind might act out my fears/worries causing nightmares. Hm.. Yeah, I have STRESS. I hate it. But I constantly feel pressurised by someone. Maybe he didn't mean it but it is a fact that I still feel the stress/pressure from him. Especially the questionings.

When I need you, you are never there. When I don't need you, you are always there. Haiz~ Life has its irony sometimes =S
Reading some forums makes me mad!! Why? I believe that if a guy truly loves a girl, he wouldn't try to force/coerce/persuade/pressurise or whatever his gf to have sex with him. Hm.. Don't know leh but this makes me mad coz love =/= sex and sex =/= love. Why do people (esp guys) fail to see that? Or they actually know about this theory but they just make use of this to trick the girls to satisfy themselves? And why are girls so stupid/blinded to get tricked by them? What they said are just crap. This is lust, not love. They are just lusting after you, not in love with you. If they really love you, they would treasure you and not demand for physical intimacy. Ah yoh~ I can't help feeling mad leh. Shall stop reading those forums for awhile =/

PS: I feel that my cousin is getting prettier. Haha =)

Many things to blog about.. Haha~ Haven't been such an avid blogger recently. Hm.. Sorry about that.

1. http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/singaporeseen/viewContent.jsp?id=84011
So sad to see NTU having this kind of demeaning orientation programme. Somehow, I feel that the girl is quite innocent. Hm.. Maybe people/the organisers just sort of psycho her into performing the act. It may be against her wishes too but she isn't strong enough to reject doing it. Maybe coz she's just a freshman? I don't know. But I hope that the NTu organisers can think of better orientation programmes than this type of stupid ones. Really.

2. I just went for my second wisdom teeth extraction yesterday. OMG!! It is worse than the first. Haiz~ My left cheek is swollen now. It hurts really badly yesterday. Hm.. Seems like the first wisdom teeth surgery was better. Oh well~ Can't really remember. Maybe it's the dentist's incompetency. And he still calls himself an oral surgeon, specializing in oral surgery =.= I went to a new dentist coz the previous one is fully booked until Thursday. Scared cannot recover by Monday. But come to think of it, should be able to hor.. Last time I did the surgery on Sat, I went to school on Monday. Hm.. Oh well~ Trusted the wrong dentist maybe.. Haiz~

3. Seems like everyone around me has a job. Haha~ Me too!! And Jeanette too. Congrats gal =) Hm.. The transition between a student to a working adult feels... I don't really know how to describe the feeling but then.. now I look at students studying/mugging, etc. I feel old and a bit out of touch although I've just grad. Haha~ Don't bother asking me anything about school stuff coz I'm totally not interested! Many things have been forgotten. Haha~ Maybe after working for awhile I would miss school. I would miss chionging to lectures and tutorials. Chionging to finish the assignments, readings and projects. But not now. Now, I'm still enjoying (sort of) the corporate world. Haha~ =)

4. I've watched The Proposal. Nice =) I would like to watch it again. Haha xD

A great nice rock song. Haha~ Something different from what I usually listen to =)

Theory Of A Deadman
Not Meant To Be

It's never enough to say I'm sorry
It's never enough to say I care
But I'm caught between what you
Wanted from me, and knowing
If I give that to ya
I might just disappear.

Nobody wins when everyone's losing

Oh, it's like

One step forward and two steps back
No matter what I do you're always mad
And I can't change your mind,

Oh, it's like

Trying to turn around on a one way street
I can't give you what you want
And it's killing me and I, I'm starting to see
Maybe we're not meant to be

It's never enough to say I love you
No, it's never enough to say I try
It's hard to believe that's there's
No way out for you and me
And it seems to be,
The story of our life

Nobody wins when everyone's losing

It's like one step forward and two steps back
No matter what I do you're always mad
And I can't change your mind, oh

It's like trying to turn around on a
One way street. I can't give
You what you want and it's killing me
And I, I'm starting to see
That maybe we're not meant to be

There's still time to turn this around
Should we be building this up
Instead of tearing it down
But I keep thinking
Maybe it's too late.

It's like one step forward
And two steps back,
No matter what I do
You're always mad
And I, can't change your mind, oh

It's like tryin to turn around
On a one way street
I can't give you what you want
And it's killing me and I,
I finally see,
Baby that we're not meant to be

It's like one step forward,
And two steps back,
No matter what I do
You're always mad,
And I, Baby I'm sorry to see,
Maybe that we're not meant to be

Another one =)

PS: I better upload the photos soon if not Jiamin might kill me. Lolx~
Some people are so damn disgusting that it makes my blood boil! As in literally boiling and I'm trembling.. Do wrong things, don't want to admit his mistakes and turn around and blame you for accusing him. What the hell is this?!?!?! Haiz~ I really wanna say vulgarities okie?!?! But I'm controlling... Argh~!!

Who likes to be fat? Everyone (especially gals) likes to be slim and pretty/good looking. We all wish to fit perfectly into the nice looking clothes which we see on display. We can't wait to bring them home and wear it out and hope that we look as nice in those clothes as the models. So what do we do to get rid of our extra fats? We all hope to slim down. The next question is.. HOW? This is a very good question coz personally I (and some friends) hope to slim down and have tried several ways which are not easy.

So what are the ways of slimming down? I'm sure most people have heard that the most effective way is to exercise more. Increase your metabolism. Make your output greater than input. Yeah, it sounds so logical and ideal. It is. But how many of us are actually so conscientious and determined to exercise so regularly? I've tried but grown sick and tired of it. I hate sports so.. haiz~ And this way, the results come much slower.

Next would be dieting. Eat less or skip some meals. This is such a painful method. OMG!! Singapore is such a food haven that temptations are everywhere. And feeling hungry feels really terrible. It affects your mood and makes you feel moody. You see other people eat, yet you can't eat. That's bad. So dieting is really not a good way of slimming down. There might be side effects like you might get anorexic and can't take in food. Or you might binge on food after your diet, making you regain your weight. Perhaps we can try to eat more healthy food. Like low carbo intake, don't eat after 5pm, count the amount of calories, etc.. I've tried them all but to no avail. It gets so annoying with so many things to follow..

Lastly, I'm sure many would be interested to try slimming centres or massages/spa, etc.. Oh well. If only we can afford it. Haha~ However, although we can afford it, we would want to know what slimming centres to go to or what sort of programmes/packages to sign up for. And what sort of technology are they using. Lastly, we would want it to be effective of course. Cannot just anyhow sign up for anything right?

One day, I've came across a kind of technology called Cativation. Now, all of you might be wondering what is Cativation. Cavitation is the latest technology in slimming. It makes use of stable cavitations to obtain the best results by breaking fat cells membrane through the bursting of micro-bubbles. The complex fatty acids are then broken down into simpler fatty acids. These simple fatty acids can then be passed out through excretory system. Sounds chim? Have a look at the pictures..

Simply put, it’s a non surgical fat removal method, there’s no downtime, with very rare side effects. And it's damn effective lah!

Armed with a team of physiotherapists and N2 License from National Environment Agency (NEA), Cenosis is the first slimming centre in Singapore to use the Cavitation technology. This shows how committed Cenosis is, in the area of slimming. So what are you waiting for? Make an appointment with Cenosis right now, to find out how you can benefit from this wonderful technology at a special price of $33. Call 7000 700 6626 or visit www.cenosis.biz/cavitation.php to make an appointment.
Anybody feels like renting somebody? I've got little Sammie boy for rent at $20 per hour. Haha~ Oops.. I'm being so lame =/ But he's a nice guy k =)
Video sharing time =)

The Proposal

The Proposal sounds like a totally nice and cool movie. It is the typical romantic comedy which I've always enjoyed watching. I expect this movie to be full of fun and laughter. Yet although it sounds typical, there is something different and interesting to look forward to.. I would like to see how does a girl propose to a guy. Haha~ Sounds so cool and fun. This is definitely a movie which I will catch.. Something to look forward to =)

The Proposal opens in cinemas 20 August 2009.

Yesterday, went to have hotpot with Verlene they all at Marina Square. It was fun and nice. I like the tomyam soup but the MSG made me feel thirsty all the time. For once, I finished my drink very fast. Too bad, they didn't have free flow of drinks. Made me have to order ice lemon honey and chinese tea. Felt so bloated after that lor

PS: Thanks Verlene for your carebear =)
PPS: I keep forgetting to bring the surprise I have for you. Haiz!!

Watsons finally has a card membership system, something which I've always wanted coz I'm their regular customer. However, there's no discount (in %) for the card. It can only be used to accumulate points which you can use to offset purchases next time. Oh well~ I would still prefer like a 10% discount on every purchase, compared to this card system where I have to slowly save up the points.

My Watsons card =)
A nice video to share =)

I am a worrywart. I worry about a lot of things. I have no idea why and I don't like it. Haiz~ If only life can be simple and nice =) Seems like the older I (you) get, the more I (you) have to worry. Does this mean that I'm (you're) approaching the mid quarter crisis? I'm sort of dreading each and everyday. I wish there's something really interesting that I can look forward to everyday =)

PS: Some people's attitude's just need to be improved =)
PPS: There's something wrong with the 's' key on my laptop. Need to press more than once before it comes out. Oh no~ So many things wrong with my laptop. I'm feeling very pek chek and sad =(

Bad News: I think I'm allergic to alcohol. Got

rashes after drinking. So shitty!

I've just came across this and I thought it is interesting. Which love style are you? Come come, write on my tagboard =P

Eros

Akin to limerence, eros is literally the love of Beauty. It is a highly sensual style of love. Erotic lovers choose their lovers by intuition or "chemistry." They are more likely to say they fell in love at first sight than those of other love styles.

Erotic lovers view marriage as an extended honeymoon, and sex as the ultimate aesthetic experience. They tend to address their lovers with pet names, such as "sweetheart" or "honey". An erotic lover can be perceived as a hopeless romantic. Those of other love styles may see erotic lovers as unrealistic, or trapped in a fantasy.

The advantage of erotic love is the sentimentality of it. It is very relaxing to the person doing it. The disadvantage is the inevitableness of the decay in attraction, and the danger of living in a fantasy world. In its extreme, eros can resemble naivete.

Examples of Eros in movies include The Blue Lagoon, Return to the Blue Lagoon, Pretty Woman, Working Girl, Girl with a Pearl Earring, Star Wars and Titanic.

Ludus

Ludic lovers are players. More interested in quantity than quality of relationships, ludic lovers want to have as much fun as possible. Ludic lovers choose their partners by playing the field, and quickly recover from break-ups.

Ludic lovers tend to view marriage as a trap, and are the most likely of the love styles to commit infidelity. They might view children as a sign of fertility of the parent or of the masculinity of the father. They regard sex as a conquest or a sport, and they engage in relationships because they see them as a challenge.

The disadvantage of this love style is the likelihood of infidelity. In its extreme form, ludic love becomes promiscuity.

Examples of ludus in movies include Dangerous Liaisons and Cruel Intentions.

Storge

Storgic lovers are friends first. Storgic love develops gradually out of friendship, and the friendship can endure beyond the breakup of the relationship. Storgic lovers choose their mates based on homogamy, and sometimes cannot pinpoint the moment that friendship turned to love. Storgic lovers want their significant others to also be their best friends.

Storgic lovers place much importance on commitment, and find their motivation to avoid committing infidelity is to preserve the trust between the partners. Children and marriage are seen as legitimate forms of their bond. Sex is of lesser importance than in some of the other love styles.

The advantage of storgic love is the level of intimacy between the partners. The disadvantage is the lack of passion.

Examples of storge in movies include When Harry Met Sally..., Love & Basketball and Zack and Miri Make a Porno .

Pragma

Pragmatic lovers are practical. Pragmatic lovers think rationally and realistically about their expectations in a partner, and select them via comparison shopping or shopping-list love. Pragmatic lovers want to find value in their partners, and ultimately want to work with their partner to reach a common goal.

Pragmatic lovers will avoid infidelity to avoid adverse consequences, and carefully weigh the costs and rewards of a relationship. Pragmatic lovers view sex as a reward or a means of procreation, and view marriage and children as potential liabilities and assets.

The advantage of pragmatic love is practicality and realism. The disadvantage is un-demonstrativeness and lack of emotion. In its extreme form, pragma can become prostitution.

Examples of pragma in books and movies include Ordinary People and Charlotte in Pride and Prejudice.

Mania

Manic lovers often have low self-esteem, and place much importance on their relationship. Manic lovers speak of their partners in possessives and superlatives, and feel they "need" their partners. Love is a means of rescue, or a reinforcement of value. Manic lovers often discover their partners by haphazard means.

Manic lovers will avoid committing infidelity if they fear discovery. They view marriage as ownership, and children as either competition or a substitute for their lover. Sex is a reassurance of love. Manic lovers are often anxious or insecure, and can be extremely jealous. Manic lovers respond well to therapy, and often grow out of this style.

The advantage of manic love is intensity. The disadvantages include jealousy, obsessiveness, and insatiability. In its extreme, mania becomes addiction or codependency.

Extreme examples of mania in movies include Misery, Fatal Attraction, Play Misty for Me, Swimfan, Taxi Driver, The Office and Twilight.

Agape

Agapic love is self-sacrificing, all-encompassing love. Agapic lovers are often spiritual or religious people. Agapic lovers view their partners as blessings, and wish to take care of them.

Agapic lovers will remain faithful to their partners to avoid causing them pain, and will often wait patiently for their partners after a break-up. Marriage and children are sacred trusts, and sex is a gift between two people. Agapic love believes itself to be unconditional, though lovers taking an agapic stance to relationships risk suffering from inattention to their own needs.

The advantage of agapic love is its generosity. A disadvantage is that it can induce feelings of guilt or incompetence in a partner. In its deviant form, agape becomes martyrdom.

Examples of agape in books and movies include The Gift of the Magi by O. Henry, Penelope in Odyssey, The Mission, Somewhere in Time, Titanic, Untamed Heart and Forrest Gump.
